About this project

Tom Brothers planted 70 acres of cover crops to reduce runoff of water, sediments, and nutrients, as well as to add nutrients back into the soil. As well as add a waste facility closure, and a waste storage facility for their dairy operation as well to help with nutrient management. This project was in collaboration with the Kosciusko County Soil and Water Conservation District and The Watershed Foundation with funding through the Indiana DNR with the Lake and River Enhancement Program.
