About this project

Longville Farms planted 243.3 acres of cover crops for 2 years to reduce runoff of water, sediments, and nutrients, as well as to add nutrients back into the soil. They also converted 243.3 acres of land to no till production as well. This project also included a pest and nutrient management plan.  This project was a collaboration between The Watershed Foundation and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.
