About this project

Dennis Wolfe planted 57.2 acres of cover crops to reduce runoff of water, sediments, and nutrients, as well as to add nutrients back into the soil, as well as implementing no till on those same acres.  He also implemented an advance nutrient management plan on those 57.2 acres.  6 Water and Sediment Control Basins were installed to help with gully erosion. 3 Grassed Waterways for a total of 410 feet were installed to help with filtering sediments and help reduce runoff, along with 2600 feet of Underground Outlet (Tile) to help with runoff as well. This project was in collaboration with The Watershed Foundation and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.
