About this project
Twenty volunteers brought their work gloves,strong backs, and big smiles on a sunny Friday in June to plant nearly 3,000 native plants in two bioswales. These former ditches now help clean runoff by filtering sediments and water pollution, as well as draining the water into the soil – rather than delivering it quickly to Lake Tippecanoe.
